I’m a full stack WordPress Developer (Yes both front and backend).
I mainly work in two ways:
With web designers and agencies: I build the sites they design, from PSDs to completed site.
With individual small businesses and solopreneurs: I act as a ‘web fairy’, supporting them in their online lives.
In all aspects of my work, I aim to do the following things:
Make every site I build as easy to use as possible, both for visitors and for the site’s managers. WordPress is the world’s best loved CMS because its the world’s most user-friendly CMS, and features such as custom post types and taxonomies allow for a truly intuitive admin area. I take pride in finding creative ways to make custom features simple and intuitive for the site’s owner to manage.
Write good, clean, semantic code which is good for both humans and search engines.
Make sure that every client can use the site I’ve built for them. I love teaching people to use WordPress, and often create training videos to help them going forwards.
Be reliable, supportive, and easy to work with. My job doesn’t stop with the coding: I believe in creating a true partnership with my clients. It’s a matter of immense pride to me that they consistently feed back that they appreciate not only *what* I do, but *how* I do it.
Conduct every aspect of my working life with integrity.
I’m always keen to create new relationships with designers and web agencies: if you think we might be able to help each other, do get in touch.
